Meet Roscoe and Jenny


Hi! We’re Roscoe and Jenny, two multi passionate humans and the founders of Full Circle Farm. Our journey started, love at first site, when we met in Honolulu in 2013. Roscoe grew up surfing and sailing the waters of Waikiki, and Jenny grew up on a small grain farm in MN. We couldn’t have had more drastically different upbringings.

Roscoe started baking with whole grains and experimenting with sourdough in 2017. A self taught baker, his passion bloomed into a full blown endeavor. We took the leap, quit our jobs, and became business partners in 2019 with the launch of our microbakery, Roscoe’s Sourdough. We started shipping wheat that Jenny’s dad, Jay Bredeken, grew on the family farm south of Starbuck, MN to our bakery in Hawaii and milling fresh flour for our breads. For four years we provided sourdough bread to the Honolulu and windward Oahu communities at farmer’s markets every Saturday and Sunday. Through this experience we realized the potential of combining artisanal breads and flours with the family farm and our vision grew.

We started splitting our time between Minnesota and Hawaii in 2020. With family running our business in Honolulu we were able to set the foundation for Full Circle Farm. Fast forward to 2023 and the turning of a new page. We’re in the process of launching our home based mill and micro bakery operation on our farm to provide both sourdough breads and fresh milled flours/ whole grains to our small town MN community with visions to expand into a bigger on site facility in 2025. With this expansion we’ll be able to offer more products with our home grown grain.

Full Circle describes many things for us, one of them being our vision for the farm. We see the value in transforming the grain we grow into beautiful and nourishing products. We’re driven to inspire and connect people to the valuable resource of locally grown, delicious whole food.

After Jenny moved to Hawaii for a nursing job in 2011, she didn’t see herself returning to her roots on the farm. Life is funny sometimes! Truly coming Full Circle as the next generation of Bredeken farmers in her lineage she feels called to give back to the community that gave her so much growing up.

Full Circle also describes the interconnection we see between the quality of the food we eat with the health of everything around us; including the land, body, mind, and spirit. Our mission is to farm with future generations in the forefront of our mind.
