Thank You for Choosing Full Circle Farm Sourdough Pizza Crust!

What started as a simple love for sharing sourdough pizza with friends and family has grown into something truly special—a crust we are proud to share with you. Each batch is naturally leavened (fermented) over time, using long fermentation to develop deep flavor, a perfect chew, and that signature crispness.

But what makes our crust even more unique is the flour itself—freshly milled from wheat grown right on our family farm. We grow and harvest our grains with care, then stone-mill our flour in small batches to preserve nutrients, flavor, and character. This means you're not just enjoying a pizza crust; you're tasting the hard work and passion of a farm-to-table process that’s generations in the making.

Follow these simple steps to create your perfect homemade pizza, and don’t forget to share your creations with us! Tag us on social media—we love seeing the delicious ways you bring our sourdough to life. 🍕✨

What You’ll Need:

  • Your favorite pizza toppings (sauce, cheese, vegetables, meats, etc.)

  • A pizza stone, baking sheet, or deep-dish pizza pan (9x13 works great!)

  • A preheated oven

Step 1: Prepare the Dough

  1. Defrost Frozen Dough

    • Transfer the dough from the freezer to the refrigerator 24 hours before use to allow for a slow thaw.

  2. Bring Dough (fresh or previously frozen) to Room Temperature:

    • Remove the dough from the refrigerator about 1 hour before you plan to use it. This allows it to soften and become easier to roll or stretch.

  3. Divide the Dough (if making two pizzas):

    • For regular crust, divide the dough into two equal portions.

    • For deep dish, leave it as one piece.

  4. Shape the Dough:

    • Lightly dust your work surface with flour or semolina.

    • Roll or stretch the dough to your desired thickness.

    • For a thin crust, stretch evenly.

    • For a thicker, rustic crust, leave the edges slightly puffed.

Step 2: Preheat Your Oven

  • Conventional Oven: Preheat to 475°F (245°C) for regular crust.

  • For Deep Dish: Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and grease a deep-dish pizza pan with olive oil or butter.

Step 3: Par-Baking for Deep Dish Pizza (Optional but Recommended)

Par-baking helps ensure a crisp, fully cooked crust, especially with heavier toppings.

  1. Press the dough into the greased deep-dish pan, ensuring it evenly covers the bottom and sides.

  2. Dock the dough (gently poke it with a fork) to prevent bubbling.

  3. Pre-Bake: Place the pan in the oven and bake at 425°F (220°C) for 8-10 minutes, until the crust is slightly set but not fully browned.

  4. Remove from oven, then add toppings before final baking.

Step 4: Add Toppings

  1. Spread an even layer of your favorite sauce over the crust.

  2. Add cheese and toppings of your choice.

  3. Pro Tip: Don’t overload the crust to ensure even cooking.

Step 5: Bake the Pizza

  1. Regular Crust:

    • Transfer the pizza to your preheated pizza stone or baking sheet.

    • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.

    • For a crispier crust, bake directly on a pizza stone or perforated pan.

  2. Deep Dish (Final Bake):

    • After par-baking and adding toppings, bake at 425°F (220°C) for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is fully cooked.

    • If needed, cover the edges with foil in the last 5-10 minutes to prevent over-browning.

Step 6: Serve and Enjoy

  1. Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for 1-2 minutes.

  2. Slice, serve, and enjoy your homemade sourdough pizza!

Storage & Freezing Instructions

Freezing Dough: If you purchase fresh dough from the refrigerated section, be sure to freeze it by the “freeze by” date. Because this is an active sourdough crust, it will continue to ferment and not be optimal if left in the fridge. You can put it in the freezer as is and store for up to three months
